What's happening in March?

Jennifer, Ago and Maribelle

We had about 8 children in Tafo today, so we held Primary. 3 of them are shown above. Ago at the front is Peter and Eunice's daughter. She is only 4, but she is very bright and loves to sing. She picks up the songs really quick. She was a joy to have in Primary....

Saturday March 14 at Effiduase Chapel, we had a Women's Conference to celebrate the birthday of Relief Society. For our non-member friends: Relief Society is a women's organisation established in the church in 1842. Every female 18 years and over is a member of Relief Society. As the name suggests it started as an organisation to give relief to the poor. As Latter-Day Saint women we are conscious of the need to extend a helping hand to all those in need, whether temporally, emotionally or spiritually. Our colours are Blue and Yellow and our motto is CHARITY NEVER FAILETH.

Derrick, with Uncle, Noah, and Elders Fryer and Ochieng
Moses and family, with Elders Kidd and Gbalo
Another 4 BAPTISMS....Moses' wife Janet and elder daughter Leticia were baptised last year. Noah is also a recent convert and Derrick lives with him. Frimpong is a remarkable man. He has Spondylitis and is in a wheelchair. It was a bit of a challenge to baptise him. It was third time lucky!! As he cannot stand properly it was hard for the missionary to fully submerge him, but he got there in the end. Frimpong has not always been in a wheelchair and he has great faith that he will not remain there forever either. We do not know Mary well yet, she has 2 small daughters.

I think 5 to the US, 2 to Nigeria and 1 to Liberia.
2 are from Koforidua Zone. 3rd from left, Elder Dayley and Sister Paye is the one returning to Liberia.
