Saturday March 14 at Effiduase Chapel, we had a Women's Conference to celebrate the birthday of Relief Society. For our non-member friends: Relief Society is a women's organisation established in the church in 1842. Every female 18 years and over is a member of Relief Society. As the name suggests it started as an organisation to give relief to the poor. As Latter-Day Saint women we are conscious of the need to extend a helping hand to all those in need, whether temporally, emotionally or spiritually. Our colours are Blue and Yellow and our motto is CHARITY NEVER FAILETH.
